IN THE SPRING OF 2007 THREE MARINES REUNITED IN CULBERTSON, MONTANA FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1965.  WE ATTENDED COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS SCHOOLS TOGETHER AT MCRD SAN DIEGO. LEFT TO RIGHT, LARRY LARSEN, GARY HERZOG AND KEN CORNERS.

A few years ago I was browsing through an American Legion magazine.  I found an article in the back.  Someone was looking for Marines that served in communications units in Vietnam.  I was a bit surprised to see my name listed as the contact person.  I called and soon found myself talking to another Larry L. Larsen.  He was in Vietnam about the same time as I was.

In July of 2005 I attended the Khe Sanh Veterans reunion in Chicago.  After it was over I decided to make a trip to Michigan and visit Larry.  Here we are in front of his barn.

Here is another Marine I found a few years ago.  The young man on the right is Pat Conners.  He was my squad leader in boot camp platoon 307, MCRD San Diego January 1964.  We got together in 2002 in the Portland, Oregon area.

Doc Koning was a corpsman with G/2/5 in 67 and 68 and is a cousin of mine.  Here he is in Worthington, Minnesota in September of 2007.

Captian Edwin Gray helped me with a bad situation in April 1967 in Phu Bai.  I recently made contact with him after 38 years.

This was given to me in Khe Sanh in 1967.  It says 3rd Force Recon Company on the back.

This map shows where the Sub Unit 5 Marines are that I have found.  I am always looking for more.

This is the tail section of an Air Force C-130 that crashed on 15 October 1967.  Five men died bringing up sandbags.

This is a communications center somewhere in a Khe Sanh bunker.  The double stacked unit in the center is a SB-22 field telephone switchboard.  On the right is a TA-312 field telephone.

July 29th, 2005 I found Doc Rose's pickup in the Walmart parking lot in Cody, Wyoming.  I left my number on his windshield.  He called me later that eveing.  He told me that Delta 3rd Recon was having a reunion at the Holiday Inn.  I was invited to attend the next morning.  I spent three hours visiting with a great bunch of men.
